What do you think of my returns policy?

I'm hoping to get a few opinions on this! I know that the returns policy is really important for a lot of buyers.

At the moment, I don't accept returns on earrings for hygiene reasons. This is also the case in most high street shops - the reason being that you don't want to potentially spread an infection from person to person. Having said that, second hand/vintage sellers sell earrings with no problems.

Would my "no returns on earrings" policy put you off buying from me? Or not? Do you think it would be wise for me to change this policy?

Thank you!

You can try to include your reasoning in that section, but for me (and other people that gave me feedback on etsy) a 'no refund' policy is a huge turn off for buyers.

Re: What do you think of my returns policy?

Thanks for your replies! I actually posted this in the "Questions" section of the forums as well. As it turns out, there's a UK law that states I have to accept refunds on earrings sold online - something to do with the buyer being able to see the product in person, which is why high street shops can refuse returns on earrings. So, I've changed my policies to reflect this - although I still won't be re-selling any returned earrings that I get! Hopefully I won't have to deal with this though :)
