Shop overview: what do I need, what should I get rid of and other general questions

Hello Critics!

I got on this team a few years ago, but I never felt my shop was at a place where it could be at all critiqued. Just not quite satisfactory!

But now, with the new layout (which I love in almost every respect), I updated a few things, and I wanted to see if I could get some feedback for how my shop looks, what I need to change (besides adding more items! :D ), what needs to be updated, and generally how I need to up my game a little. I'm ready to take my shop to the next level - I just need to know what the steps are to get there! ;)

Anyway, thanks for your time, and for giving my shop a look!

Hi,
So first, I really like your style- has an old fashioned vintage look. Very nice!
Here's my suggestions:
One thing I noticed is your pictures are a little dark. Try using natural light for photos. That always makes photos look brighter and crisper. (Cloudy days are best because sunlight creates big, dark shadows. Or use indirect light coming through a window.) But even when I use natural light for my photos they are still a little dark so I brighten them up a bit with Photoshop. There are many other simpler and even free programs if you don't have Photoshop. Try a google search on that! :)

Next- try adding "I" in your all of your descriptions. Since your items are handmade describe them in a way that buyers know that you, a real person and not some machine, made them. Like for example, "I cut out this paper rose and attached it to the card." I got this tip from reading the Etsy forums one day and thought it was a great idea so I changed my descriptions too!

Great work and good luck!!
Nicole
