Re: Shop Critique

Danielle,

I'll give your shop a critique but FIRST and I mean this is THE MOST important thing you can do for your shop and to protect yourself....is to get rid of all the copyrighted images you're using.

chuck-e-cheese, Dr. Seuss, elmo, those are copyrighted.

UNLESS you have a license to use them. otherwise you're risking getting your shop shut down AND someone suing you.

Those are all images from stock photos that I pay to use.

Thank you

Re: Shop Critique

Good to know you have licenses.

Okay so you want to work on your photos a little. For instance your bottles photo. The background is a little busy and distracting. Think about having a clean background.

As fr your invites consider using natural lighting. Use natural lightning for all your photos, no flash.

Your tags and titles need work as well. Personalize wine glasses isn't the best title. Think like a buyer. Maybe something like personalize wedding glasses.

Re: Shop Critique

I agree with Mary. First impressions (especially on Etsy) are really important and the image you have portraying an item is the most important first impression. Lighting and background is important as well. One simple tip is that Etsy admin tend to pick items for the home page which have whiter backgrounds - that is a huge tip for any shop. Finding a good lighting source is also a great idea.

Good luck!
