Please help me with a critique

Hi Everyone - I just joined The Critique and hope someone would be kind enough to help me as I will do the same for others. I get very discouraged due to low views. As far as I know I follow all the tips I read about constantly for one's shop. I work very hard on what I create. I read about how, with 18" doll clothes, it is against trademark rules to title them "American Girl" and I follow that by using 18 Inch Doll Clothes. But there are SO many shops who don't do that and they are on many of the first pages of search. Some of the same shops are listed on the 1st 10 pages several times. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong because my clothes and other items are made well. I even lowered my prices : ( Thank you in advance for any help I can get.

Re: Please help me with a critique

I'm not sure if I wrote the wrong thing in asking for a critique but if I did, I'm sorry. I just can't figure out why I don't get many views or sales because I know how much love and care I give to creating what I do : ( If anyone can give me some advice I'd be very thankful.

Very cute doll clothes!
My question to you is why do you say in the top line of shop that you are closed for deliveries until 14 th November? People are starting to buy Christmas presents to mail long distances - they won't want to leave it too close to Christmas... Am not sure that message is helping your sales.
You have sold items! Welldone shows your product has interest.
It's got to be competitive, do you use Facebook, twitter, local craft fairs to promote?

Read sellers handbook, read about SEO and how to g found. I think your one mistake is you have exactly the same first line in description for ALL your products! I think that is a no no..
The first 3 words are what google will pick up. Find the best 3-4 words to describe your product.

Re: Please help me with a critique

For example. https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/206296282/18-inch-doll-clothes-handmade-red-knit?ref=shop_home_activ...

This will not get foun easily. I am NOT an export in this , so please read up.
My suggestion would be something like|. Doll clothes red top matching leggings, polka dot leggings, 2 piece set, size etc...... In that order

Re: Please help me with a critique

Thank you so much, Joy, for your suggestions. I will definitely look into all you mentioned. I am in NJ dog sitting at my brother's home until next Tuesday, 11/10, Instead of putting my shop on vacation, I gave a date I'll be able to ship. I cannot bring all my shop items with me from NY! I notice that a lot of my type of shops who title American Girl in every one seem to have many sales. I chose not to do that because of trademark infringement. Thanks so much. I truly appreciate your help, Colleen

Re: Please help me with a critique

Hi you're welcome. I think u did right about not using trademark words. Hard I know.

Maybe the wording could be different in shop title... Something more positive sounding.

Make it sound like the order will get attended to when u get back in the shop on such and such a day. You can correspond with convos about any order queries in the meantime? Something like that....

Dunno...
