Also, pictures are okay, but I would try to go with a more solid and consistent background. I see you using the white background in some shots. But make sure it is consistent. For instance, here we see the rest of the house:

An idea:
Try getting a big sheet of while paper (Bristol paper from art store). You can tape/nail it to the wall near the floor. Then have it curve down the corner so there is no telling where the wall meets the floor. Sort of hard to explain here. Anyways, that will eliminate the line behind photos like these:
