Many Views, Few Sales.

I've had my shop for years but haven't been serious about it until Feb. Since then I have been working on it everyday for hours. I got a few sales at the beginning but now it has stopped. I get about 30 views a day, some days I get more.
I've checked my prices with sellers like me and my prices are competitive.
Anyway, I'd LOVE to hear feedback from you all about my shop. :)

Personally, if I saw a shop that has been open since 2008 and has only 6 sales, I would wonder why. You just explained above how you're getting back into it but potential buyers wouldn't know that.

I would work on your titles. You need to put the most important keywords first such as 'stud earrings' or 'resin earrings' or 'amethyst necklace.' And I would also think about the style of pictures for your listings. It seems to clash with your jewelry.

Hey there, Wanda. Beautiful work--favorited your shop!

I think Contempo raises some good points, namely the titles (Which are so so so so important) and the background you've used for your photos. The photos themselves are well done but your jewelry is just so bright, and fun and colorful that it just seems to fight with the print and more subdued colors of your background.

You could use a more colorful background, go all white or do some simple staging like this:

Either way, I think paying more attention to your titles is what will really make the difference for you so I'd focus on that first.

Thanks guys! this weekend I tried some new background ideas like you all said AND changed a few of the titles of select listings and one of those listings sold!!

I dont know if it was the background or the titles but one of them worked!

That's great! Congratulations on the sale.

I think this background is a great improvement from the last one. It isn't fighting your products for attention and I think your colorful jewelry really pops against the lighter wood. It's definitely better.

I would suggest using your keywords (what people would type in Google to find your items) in as many places as you can in your shop, like the About page. You need words like "post earrings" throughout your titles, descriptions, about page, and anywhere else you can put them. The first sentence under your store name should be full of keywords that would be searched for, instead of shipping deadlines. Good luck! Laura
