Looking for your Critique!

Thank you for your time. I'm looking for ways to make my shop pop! What can i do to get more traffic? Do i have any good points to my shop set up so far? Brainstorm some tag words, I'm sooooo drawing a blank (writers block)!

Re: Looking for your Critique!

I love the simplicity of your cards and the pop of color! The only thing I would say is to vary the shots a little bit to make them look like they are in more of a "setting". It can be visually overwhelming looking at your home page with the repetition of the exact same shot. Maybe the envelopes don't have to be in every single 1st shot, or maybe have a simple prop and change up the perspective to give some distance to the cards, that way the background could be slightly blurred to make the cards really pop. :)

Re: Looking for your Critique!

Your cards are so cool and unique! I would consider maybe arranging your shop by color to make it a bit less overwhelming, or like Lee said try some different angles so that it isn't the same shot through your whole page.

Looking at the tags used in this listing http://www.etsy.com/listing/113819741/frog-paper-cut-card-for-men-and-women

I would consider instead of some of the one word tags you have used, to instead use phrases including the word 'card'. ('light blue card' 'original art card' 'wildlife card') Cram the word 'card' into every tag. Repetition is key to being found through search.

Good luck to you!

Re: Looking for your Critique!

Also, use more light when you're photographing, maybe even a light box.

Here's another setup for greeting cards that I think works pretty well: http://www.etsy.com/listing/84616706/set-of-4-landscape-cards?ref=sr_gallery_40&ga_search_query=pape...

Although that person should use more light, too.
