I just opened this shop in August, and I was hoping to get some feedback as a new shop owner!

Hi Elizabeth, I'm certainly no expert as I'm here for a critique myself, but I had a little look at some of your lovely yarns and think that you could perhaps improve a little on some of your keywords. I'm sure there are people a lot more in the know about this than me, but if I was searching for yarn I'd be typing in 'chunky yarn' or 'double knit yarn' or 'knitting yarn' or something a bit more descriptive of what I'm after. Good luck with your shop and I hope you get some helpful responses :)

Your shop looks great! The only thing I really notice is that some of your backgrounds compete with your items a little too much. Other than that everything is reasonably priced and looks high quality.

I really like your banner! The colors of your products go well with the image.

I think you can improve your photos a bit. I used this tutorials to improve my photos in gimp:

Gimp is free and easy to install.
I have made my photos little bit lighter and brighter and I think it makes the shop look fresh.

i agree about the photos, just that the backgrounds could be brighter, ive recently started using fotofuze its an etsy app and is pretty easy to use!
i'd gladly take a critique if you find time :)

fotofuze, got it. I've never heard of that one I'll have to try it out.

I've tried making the backgrounds brighter, but I haven't quite gotten the hang of it. I end up making my background bright, but distorting the color of my items!

Practice practice practice I guess.
