Can I get a critique please?

I'm having lots of views and favorites but the actual sales are a little slim.

I'm not sure if it's the pictures, the pricing or my actual work...???

Help?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Can I get a critique please?

Hi Theresa,

First of all, congratulations on almost 80 sales.

Your photos seem pretty good quality, but you definitely need more of them. Show them next to something familiar so that people will get a good idea of size. Maybe show them hanging in your home so people can imagine it in theirs.

I feel like your prices are kind of low ball. The quality of your photos make your pieces look a lot better than $3-$5. Sometimes making a price low doesn't make the sale; it makes people think your piece is cheap. I would pay up to $15 or $20 for the animal arrowheads.

Beef up your descriptions. Are you pieces handmade by you? How did you begin wood burning? Do you use stencil? Do you cut the arrowhead shape as well as burn the animal/decoration in? I don't know much about wood burning, so I have a lot more questions than just those!

Enhance your shop banner. White on white does not make it stick out. Maybe try a cream background, or even a wooden pattern. Definitely make your shop name bigger.

Great items! Good luck!
