Backgrounds!!

I am struggling with my backgrounds, I have no clue what to use to make my shop just pop, I want some advice what you would do and what would look good, I love my theme of my shop and want to keep that going.I have been putting my banners on my tan wall in my home and my books on a tan background but I think its not working, and im not satisfied with the overall look.

I'm not going to be much help, but I wanted to say I love your whole store. The backgrounds are fresh and exciting to me as well. I love how in some of your pictures you even include your son playing with the books. My favourite backgrounds are the damask wall and the panelled. If I had come across this and had a child I would've bought :D. Love it, keep it up.

I think that, you actually did a really good job with your photographs. One or two of them are a little bit iffy though.

I'm with you on this one! I have the same problem. I have lime green walls in my apartment and I was taking pics on that, then someone told me it's too much and distracts from the product. So now I'm doing them with white backgrounds and i feel like it's too simple and doesn't really stand out! once you figure it out, share the info!lol

Thank you everyone, I was hoping my banner would be the one to stand out and the background would just go with the theme but I cant seem to get the right prop to help me, maybe I will go to lowes and get me a wainscoting and paint it the special color?
