I don't have a favorite brand or collection of pottery. But I do admire many different ceramic artists work. I like the playful, the unexpected, the unique. I admire technique, and skill.

My name is Lynessa Thompson and my shop is Dashing Ceramics. I work in low-fire white clay mostly. I (coincidentally) work out of my shed, which works as my studio space with a motorized kickwheel and a small electric kiln. I make a variety of items but I particularly enjoy making kitchen-ware and soap dishes, carving into their surfaces is my newest favorite design choice. Hello im Bill. My wife and i just opened a shop on etsy. She tie dyes and i do pottery. I have worked as a hand builder for 28 years at a high end pottery and furnature factory (mackenzie-childs) and figured id give it a shot to make some of my own designs for the world to see. We dont have a lot of inventory in our shop yet but more is to come. We have a holiday show this weekend wish us luck

Hi my name is Karen and I like all kinds of pottery. I work in the majolica style so that I can use my painting and illustration skills. I used to work in stone ware and at the school I attended we used a gas kiln for the final firing. I recently took a sculpture class at Arrowmont and made a bust that I am just getting ready to fire and glaze. I have worked in clay for over 20 years and some of the time I worked in retail at Disney and also in the scenic shops on various projects at the Animal Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios and the Magic Kingdom. And now while I am making pottery and clay work I am beginning making hand made/painted greeting cards. I live with my husband and a bushel of cats most of which are rescues with socialization issues.
