using tippex on fabric instead of chalk

My first ever question here

is it alright to use tippex/correctional on fabric instead of tailor chalk?

I make art dolls out of Fleece, and find that chalk doesn't give me much accuracy on the darker fabric, and I can't see lines made with an air erasable pen.

I'm asking because I've used tippex on my own art dolls that I keep for exhibitions (and had no trouble myself), but I'm now doing commissioned work for customers, that they should be able to cuddle.

I've googled and wikied, but couldn't find any info on side effects of dried tippex.

Best wishes

Lou

A quick google says that tippex is basically white-out (as I know it in the US). While I'm not aware of any specific issue with it, you could request the MSDS (material safety data sheet) from the manufacturer to be sure.
