Hello!
I want to stamp a dapped (concave) brass blank. Does anyone have a link or information on a concave block I can use to rest the base on while I stamp?
thanks in advance!
Jen

Could you use a dapping block or the dapping punch..getting concave and convex mixed up.

concave is the inward curve.
so you could use the dapping block... if you are going to be doing stamping on a lot ot them the same size you could also hollow out on a wood base say a 2x4 in case you were worried about marring the dapping block

the easiest thing to do is stamp than form, use a steel block and a wood or plastic dapping punch
