any tips for removing cap to E6000???

Ack! I cannot for the life of me get the cap off my tube of E6000. I typically wipe the tip clean before putting the cap back on after using it. Apparently I didn't do a good enough job last time I used it. I've used all my might and cannot untwist the cap!

Anyone done this before and know how to get the cap unstuck? It's nearly a full tube, I hate to have to break it open!

If you do end up having to break the tube, place it in double zip lock bags afterward. That seems to help a little with some other paints and glues.

I have also made a tiny hole in a cap then taped it and zip locked it.

I keep a pair of pliers with my paint/glue tubes, the kind with a rounded space in the middle that looks like it was designed for opening things.

thanks! I've used pliers before and ruined the cap. I think I'm going to try that again but more carefully this time. If it's ruined I"ll try the ziplock bag. I was hoping there was some magic trick. I have a love/hate relationship with this glue! :)
