Using embossing powder on metal

Is this possible?

I use Vintaj stamping blanks. I was wondering if it would be possible to use scrapbooking embossing powders on the stamping blanks.

If so, how would I go about doing that?

perhaps? I'm not for sure if it would work. I would get an embossing ink and then some embossing powder and try it on an inexpensive blank.

I've never tried it. If you do try it, wait a while before handling the metal after using a heat tool. When I took a class last year on etching metal, we used a heating tool on our metal at one point. Let's just say it was hot ;)
