Threading Chunky Necklaces

Hello everyone.

I am going to be making children's chunky necklaces. What type of material should I use to thread the beads as they are for children afterall. I am very concerned with the safety. Here in the UK, Trading Standards are very strict and I want to get my item tested and CE approved, even though they are not a toy.

You might be interested in Extreme Flex (scroll down) - it bills itself as the first and only truly "green " beading wire. The company is reliable and this line also claims to be abrasion resistant which is good for chunky necklaces. The .019 size should work fine for you.
