SMALL GROMMET HELP PLEASE!!!! ;)

I NEED HELP WITH FINDING GROMMETS TO BUY PLEASE!!!
I have been looking (literally for almost 5 months now) for really small, as in tiny, grommets... that I can use in some jewelry pieces.

I personally am not satisfied with eyelets... and MINE sometimes, well most of the time, do not "set" properly and they splay out funky and just look "messy". I AM a mess, but I do not want my pieces to look like they are. LOL

I want the pieces to have a better quality look to them. MY pieces are always different, so I know I may need different sizes? Maybe? And that is ok as well... I just don't want the hole and the outer part of the flange that sticks out over the edge to be very wide either. Its just to "finish" off the piece for a nice look. Only because I am just looking for it to "clean" up the look and finalize the look. So, as for the thickness of the "material" (for lack of a better term. ;) What I mean is, some pieces I would need them for are leather (some scraps type leather, some thicker like a mans belt, some pieces are steel or brass metal blanks, some pieces are acrylic, dome are ribbon, and I even need some grommets for paper, (a heavy card stock, but, yes... still nonetheless, paper), among other materials, etc. The paper is a rare occasion, BUT, in some cases, I better throw in ALL my needs, right? ;) ANYWAY, I REALLY REALLY REALLY NEED NEED NEED to find small tiny grommets and I simply CANNOT find them anywhere. I've searched the internet and every store I can think of, craft, art, jewelry, and hardware stores to no avail. ;(

The WHY... I am needing them to cover the holes I have either punched or drilled out of whatever the piece is, so that I can then attach the grommet for security and to make it more "finished", say for a pair of earrings or for a jump ring to go through, for example. Which is why NOTHING large, or even a #00 would work, as some pieces are small, ya know?

I simply need the GROMMET hole (inside and the outer edge) to be, maybe 1/8 and RARELY maybe 3/16? I just need to fit a jump ring, a small chain, thin ribbon, twine, or maybe some thin threading leather to fit through it.... I KNOW I have seen these on jewelry and I still do! ;) LOL Am I calling it something else? Are they NOT GROMMETS? hahaha

PLEASE, does ANYONE know what I am talking about? If so, I would be soooo very grateful and appreciative... I would LOVE to know where I can get buy them, hoping one of YOU of course! ;) Also, because they are so small, I would only need the little hand setter type tool, not some giant contraption for assembly either. ;)

Is it too much to ask for me to want my pieces to look finished on the front AND the back? LOL

I would REALLY appreciate any help!!!! that any of you wonderfully talented, and knowledgeable people on here could provide!!!

My thanks in advance, ;)

Try looking for tube rivets for the jewelry ones.

so, do tube rivets have an opening? Like, arent they closed on one end, like a nail head? cause i do have rivets, but, i need something that is just making the open hole look nicer, but keeping the hole OPEN. ;)

How about these?

I bought some to use in my polymer clay. They are extremely small :)
I don't know how well they 'spread out' / set since I only put them in to the clay, for that finished look, and don't set them.

Re: SMALL GROMMET HELP PLEASE!!!! ;)

the eyelets you sent wont work, too small, no back to give it a finished look, need a washer to close the back, instead.

they do have some eyelets and washers = grommets, but the outer edge is 12mm... so again too big for me. i soooooo appreciate your help. sincerely, i have been lost and soooooo frustrated!!! ;)

you are the best to try and help me!!!! my gratitude is just BEYOND!!!

Re: SMALL GROMMET HELP PLEASE!!!! ;)

If anyone will have what you need in a grommet it will be C.S. Osbourne. They probably invented grommets and eyelets. In the trade we called them "Top Hats" and "Crowns" to differentiate the two parts. "DOT" fasteners is another one.

Tube rivets are tubes. You have to flare both ends.
