I've got an antique clock that was made with a celluloid veneer, but, as all celluloid does, it's dried out and foggy-looking. What would help bring back the shine? I've never dealt with celluloid before.
I've read that white gum erasers work well on celluloid. I think that's just for cleaning. Can you try a test spot with vasoline? Don't use harsh cleaners or abrasives.
