Elegant way to temporarily attach magnets to a backing board

I've made little fridge magnets and want to sell/gift them in sets, and would love a way to attach them to an attractive piece of cardboard that has information about the featured art on the back. Is there a way to do this without using tape or double-sided tape that may leave sticky gunk on the magnets? Thanks in advance!

What about a self-cut magnet on the reverse side of the place card or tag used to display the handmade magnet. A sandwiched magnet. You can buy sheets of magnet flat and black and cut to size a small square that holds the handmade magnet in place?

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I will be out looking for the magnet sheet / magnetic paint. Either of those sound quite workable!

Re: Elegant way to temporarily attach magnets to a backing board

when i sold magnets i placed them on a sheet of stiff paper and then wrapped them up w/ cellaphane and taped that. the cellaphane was tight enough the magnets couldn't shift. for display they would most likely still attach to display magnetic board....you could print your info on the back of the paper and then wrap them up. i used the super strong magnets so included a warning to keep away from children.

OMG- I HAVE THE PERFECT THING FOR YOU!!!!! I use these myself, and they are AWESOME!

The seller is Shel, now... she doesn't have them listed on her site right now. But, I JUST SPOKE TO HER and she has them in stock...

They are glue dots that are 1/2 inch circles and NON PERMANENT, but hold really well, until you WANT them to come off. They mess up nothing and leave NO residue. It is what they use in museums a lot too, from what i understand. She said you could contact her and she will talk to you about them, how many and how much, etc. PLUS, she is one of the BEST etsy sellers I have EVER dealt with!
