Clutch purse question

I am trying to make a clutch purse, but wondering if you really need the craft fuse iron onto the fabric. Can you do without it? Or maybe I am doing it wrong. The fuse makes the fabric look bulky. Or does it matter what fabric you are using? I am using cotton.

Re: Clutch purse question

Fusible interfacing can give the bag structure. If you not want the bag to have any structure then you shouldn't use it.

How big is the purse that you are creating? Also, are you using a kisslock mechanism to close it or are you creating holes in it for your hands, or are you doing the fold over style clutch?

I made a clutch a few months ago and I used two kinds of interfacing to lend structure.

THanks for responding...I finally got the structure right now I can't seem to get the gluing part right :( Last night I glued one side, but the glue that dry looks bad on the lining ( silk saten) I guess I should use cotton.
