Needs to be: **under $100- under $50 would be better **cuts straight reliable lines **Either guillotine or rotary cutter **cuts 20-30 sheets at a time (so probably guillotine). **made of metal would be nice. **No replaceable mat strips that go under the blade
I use a couple of heavy duty ones...not sure of name I'll try to look at my studio tomorrow, but none of them will cut 20 sheets straight. It is very annoying. I do well to cut 5 pieces at a time. These are all guillotine type.
I've never seen any type of paper cutter reliably cut more than 5 sheets at a time except for the industrial ones, and those are crazy expensive.... Sorry, that's not very helpful!
if you need to cut 20-30 pages at a time i would just buy a package of paper at staples and ask them to cut it to size.. costs $1/cut or something like that.
Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I tried having the paper cut at an Office Depot & that particular store didn't have a good cutter & said that the sheets wouldn't come out perfectly cut (odd seeing as they make booklets & need to cut paper all the time?). I'll try another office store.
