I know tread was mentioned a million times now but seriously, how come is so hard for us sellers to get a real live support instead of repeated email templates? i have tried to contact etsy support numerous times and my shop has been closed now for over a month. it is so frustrating. all the information i have submitted via writing and document uploading is correct and my only mistake was putting the business name as my personal name and it is still under pending verification.why is it so complicated?

you can't change the owner of a shop
shops are non-transferable on etsy, so what they want is proof of name change, which you cannot provide.
so this is not just a documentation check by bots, or normal support
it needs someone to actually make a decision, on whether they will allow it , and go against their tous, or not - it will take ages
......
Only open 1 ticket, and keep replying to it you still need help
If you open another, the first one is closed, and the new one goes to the bottom of the queue, and you start from scratch

hey there..thank you for the reply .. just to be more accurate i have entered my business name as my name by mistake and then changed it to my name (submitted an id) , was told it does not match the info entered when the store was opened back in 2015, so me and my wife concluded it was her info that is needed (since we are registered 50/50 in the business) but my name is still pending verification for over a month and I cant edit it to put hers. (also made sure she was added as partner in etsy - so we are both listed ) I have also uploaded her ID numerous times but etsy support does not response no matter how many cases I open (4 already) or try to email back. and now im here at the forums as last resort.
18 days left to verify now ( out of 60) ... what happen when the times is up ?
