unable to edit my saved replies in messages

Edit button not working on mobile or desktop. I typically go in and just change name/dates but it's not allowing me to do that. I even made a new saved reply but can't edit that either.  Extremely annoying and frustrating. I don't have time to continually mess around with all this message stupidity.

@MiniatureMakerSupply  Are you doing it on desktop?  I just went to test it, and I'm not seeing the snippet icon - I don't even recognize / know what I'm doing there - LOL!  I hope someone else can help you!

On desktop AND mobile. Haven't tried the app and won't.

Agreed - we just checked on desktop and the 'snippet manager' disappeared and there does not appear to be any way to add, edit, or delete snippets, just a 'show more / show less' toggle.

Yes, we noticed this, too. I'm guessing it's because they're doing so much tweaking to the messaging system, but it does suck - had a really great reply I wanted to save as a snippet and I couldn't. I hope they bring it back!

We work exclusive;y on desktop but we have a text editor (like Notepad if you are on Windows) open with answers to our most inquiries. Then we just have to tweak the answer to the actual situation.

I am also now unable to edit my saved replies.  I am hoping there is a fix very soon!

Yep- same issues here- bugs everywhere always and what’s up with the save button being all the way to the left and not at the bottom?! Who manages these pages?!?! We are paying 6% for what? It’s like they publish code edits without testing properly.

I had this same issue this morning, but I was able to edit my snippets by opening up an order, starting a message, then going to manage snippets. I hope this works for others!

Thank-you so much for this workaround! I was trying to edit my signature snippet because someone let me know that the link to my shop was no longer rendering correctly, and it was driving me nuts that I could no longer find any way within the regular Messages screen to edit snippets (which now apparently Etsy is calling by the more prosaic term "saved replies").

All these weeks later, no fix, just a workaround. But that's better than no workaround!

Thanks for this workaround.

It's always been possible to open Saved Replies, edit them and save but the 'Edit pencil' is no longer responsive; click, it does nothing.
It's painful to have to use a workaround for something normally so straight forward!

After 4 weeks of this post, I'm also unable to edit my Saved Replies. It's pretty annoying.
