There may have been a problem with the buyers credit card. Or someone may have tried to scam you, and that happens to new shops. Never give out any information if you get a message asking for odd information.

It's probably a scam. Are they asking you to reply or click on a link?

Be careful. Never click on links in emails or Etsy messages. Etsy will not ask you to verify your account using a credit card via messages.
