technical issue while creating new listing.

I looked a bit to see if anybody else has had this problem or if it is just me. I already take too long I know listing as I constantly spend too much time in description. Lately I've had to copy and save what I have typed cuz I will be done uploading pics, under primary pic already saved my smaller sized description. I've copied and pasted in the big description and this time I was editing in the bigger description box adding more detailed information and I'm not sure what I do sometime but i will click or bump my mouse and my listing so far is gone. I see the save and preview at the bottom but that should let you save as you go but it doesn't. So when you start a listing you can never even walk away from it over a certain amount of time if wifi disconnects I only notice sometimes my listing is gone sometimes it is still there, I can reconnect and continue where I left off. I notice that if I bump my mouse off to the left of the written part under pics that I know disappears if you haven't saved just that part yet. But I had that saved and onto big description which I tend to do 1st due to this disappearing altogether happening too often I don't want to have done even more time consuming work I already don't like doing but it is just me for now so I'm left to do it myself. When I first opened I had no idea my partner was going to back out and also didn't know listing was going to be my least favorite part. I have so much more to list but put it off until I make myself go through an even bigger struggle than it needs to be. Does anybody have any answers to the dissappearing of my listing if I'm able to get it back somewhere or learn how to stop bumping my mouse....lol Thanks! Jennifer shop name jcBAXTERdesigns. That sounds strange that you can lose your text by bumping your mouse!   What browser are you using?  I use many different browsers but have never had your issue.  I find Chrome is really stable with Etsy.  You can't save each bit as you go along but you can save it as a draft and come back to it later, or reopen it straight away to continue.

I can't say I've ever had a listing disappear like that.

Are you using a Mac, Windows or other computer?

What browser are you using? e.g. Firefox, Chrome, Edge?

When you say it "disappears", what do you see? Does the browser window go white and all the editing fields disappear? Do you see a different web page? Do you see your computer's desktop?

It takes me several days to complete a listing, because I have to create all my pictures, so I start by putting up a picture, then I answer the who made it etc. questions because they are required.  I put an X in the title and description and fill in the price with a random amount.  I sell digital, so upload a random file (if you ship you would probably need a shipping profile) and then save as a draft.  Then I go back and start filling in more pictures, title, description, etc. saving as a draft after each thing.

I lost a few listings when I first started and this method has saved me a lot of grief.
