Are you trying to respond to a message someone sent you, or are you trying to initiate a new message to someone?

I was trying to respond to a customer and a popup message came up saying - Sorry, you can't contact this person right now.

It is still not allowing me to respond to this person,.

If its a customer, someone that has already purchased from you, you will have their email, and can contact them that way. Just click on the little arrow by their name on the order,
