Hello, I just changed my store name and it got suspended right away. I also didn't get any emails from Etsy about suspension. I've been selling on Etsy for 2+ years and didn't violate any policies to this day. I did file an appeal and wrote an email to Etsy but still I can't get an answer. If the shop going to be suspended once I changed the name, why there's an option to change the store name in the first place? I don't know what else I can do..

Your shop isn’t closed or suspended, I can see a fully filled shop where I can purchase from. 

Are you sure the email is actually from Etsy and not from scammers?

This isn't the suspended shop, it's my second shop and I can't login to community space from the shop that got suspended, it keeps giving error so I wrote it from here. And yes, I'm sure it got suspended, once I login there's a big banner but I didn't get any emails from Etsy about suspension at all.

What was the shop name originally, and what did you change it to?

I should have been able to read it from your user profile, but Etsy has stopped giving access to seller usernames and profiles. Did you update your user profiles to show all accounts?

I am guessing by the fast suspension that it could be a trademark problem in the new name, or listings in the shop that do not comply with this week's version of the creativity policy eg. making your products yourself using commercial designs, or selling certain supplies.

Thank you for your reply, the shop's original name was BgbSvgDesigns and I changed to BubuThreadsCo I was selling digital products but I wanted to change to a tshirt shop, I also changed my username too..

It could be a security breach detection.

Etsy may be seeing too many changes too close together as being a hacked account, . . .

or as an attempt to sell on a shop to a new owner.

Etsy don't allow ownership transfers, but there is an illicit trade in shop accounts. Existing shops are sometimes sold on as workarounds to open a new shop for sellers who have previously been suspended.

The alternative problem could be that Etsy's automated software reviewed the listings and saw that the images or products were the same as in your other shop. Multiple shops with the same products are not allowed.

Did it have more of the same smiley face, jason vorhees, chucky trademark, etc infringements? Did it have mature content on the titles & images that needed to be censored?

Thank you for your reply, and no I was selling digital products on that shop and it did have the smiley face etc. designs. But I didn't get any emails or warnings about IP infringement not once..

You do not need to receive warnings or take downs from the IP owners to be closed down and banned.

Counterfeits is illegal and against the rules on Etsy, when you changed your name, you may have brought attention to your shop and future ones.

Etsy's Intellectual Property Policy strictly prohibits the sale of counterfeit or unauthorized replicas of items.

You seem to be aware of IP infringements, yet you are still listing them?  You may soon be having this store closed as well................

Trying to open a tee shirt store when you already have a tee shirt store just might be the reason.

You can't have 2 shops selling the same thing.

"Anything Era" brings up a picture of TS in the mind of most viewers.
