i had a customer (A) need me to re send out her package to a new address. when i did i had a series of strange things happen
1 Another customer(B) messaged me they got a shipping notification . when i double checked it did not show any new shipping label under his name. The label was under customer (A).
2 i did not notice this at the time but i had to change the delivery address when resending the package and i manually inputted it and ordered a label to the new address. Somehow between the review and actual order stage it reverted back to the original address. Though this could theoretically have been an error on my part.
As the shipping emails are automated by etsy i have no clue how the wrong customer could even get a notification of shipping about and for another customer.
Usps recycles tracking numbers - I've got a shipping email from Etsy for an order I received months previously. Following the tracking on my older purchase, I see dates and locations that didn't match my or the original shops locations. Kooky, but it happens.
