For those trying to verify their bank account # and getting the message that the # does not match the one on file, has anyone received any actual help or answers to get it to work? I've searched all over forums and tried everyone's suggestions, nothing has worked. I've opened a help ticket and after waiting several days, finally got a form response that didn't even come close to helping. The days that I have left to get this done are ticking away and I don't know what to do. I really don't want to lose all of the work that I have put into my shop over a stupid glitch that isn't even my fault. Etsy, where are you and why are you not helping us to get this resolved!
Have you asked the bank for the correct format for receiving deposits? Some have said they have had to have Etsy "unlink" the old account to proceed.
Are you using the account number shown on your online statements?
From your shop manager dashboard>Community & Help>Contact Us> request a phone call from Etsy on weekdays.
Update. Hopefully this might help anyone still stuck. I tried again today with my bank account #. I still had no luck using the big pink box, but by going below under payment settings and using the bank info box, I was able to get it to accept my bank account # by eliminating all of the beginning zeros. I was then able to start the Plaid verification process from there. I'm doing it the manual way so fingers cross that it will continue to work.
