star seller for digital downloads

Why is my shipping considered late when I do digital downloads of all my designs?  There is no shipping involved.  All customers purchase and download the digital zip files immediately.  There is NEVER any chance of delayed shipping yet Etsy has me at "25% shipping on time".  This is sooo frustrating.

You are never going to make star seller if you don't have tracked shipping, which is impossible for digital sellers. Just one more way that stupid program is unfair.

That's not true. I've seen plenty of digital shops that have the two badges for reviews and messages, and received the star seller. If all items are correctly listed as digital only, they do not list the shipping badge and sellers are still able to get the overall SS. 

Either something has been listed incorrectly, or it's an actual technical glitch on Etsy's end, but SS is absolutely possible for digital shops.

@AAANativeArts  I sell lots of instant downloads and it still counts towards star seller.

@JewelDesignsStudio: Have you looked at the applicable CSV file on your Star Seller page to see exactly which orders Etsy thinks have shipped late? Perhaps something is inadvertently set up as a physical item instead of a digital item?

All of my items are digital and I don't even have a shipping section in my Star Seller criteria.  Do you have anything that is not a digital download?  What about made to order digital downloads?

Are you using physical listings?  If so that will ding you.  You are using a physical listing for your Name that charm as you have variations listed.  Digital does not allow variations

If you are using digital listing, contact Etsy to find out why.  Digital listings do not count for star seller as there is no delivery.

There is no shipping requirement for instantly downloadable digital items. Either you have something that was inadvertently listed as physical, or you have made-to-order digital items that you were late to mark as complete, or Etsy made a mistake. If you think it's the latter, keep answering the help request email thread until you get a human to look at it.

I sell digital too and the shipping component of the star sellers stats isn't even shown.

Yes, if you sell only digital items, you're still eligible for Star Seller.  When you view your Star Seller dashboard you won't see an on-time

shipping & tracking score, but you'll still be considered based on other metrics.
