Hi, I'm new so have received my first review which was excellent. She gave me 5 out of 5. My rating however is showing 1 star so I look like a poor seller. Is this because I have only had one review or is it an error?
It does sound as if she thought the one star meant she loved it. It will pass in time with more five star reviews.

She gave you 1 star. Probably by mistake since the wording sounds good. Because you answered publicly she can’t change it now. A response locks it in.
The only option is if your customer contacts Etsy to remove it completely. If you contact Etsy they won’t be able to help.
They have you a 1 star review, even though the words are nice, they obviously clicked on the wrong number of stars,
However, as you have replied to it, you have locked it in. they can't change it now
you are stuck with it.
