spam messages

i received a lower than normal rating on star seller program because i didnt respond to a message through my pattern site. this message was a sales pitch. How do i get this off of my ratings

Very simple - mark it as a spam , in 24 hours your rating will be restored

The Message response rate counts initial messages from all Etsy members, both buyers, and other sellers even sale pitch messages. Unwanted messages may be marked as spam.

We understand there are things that can impact your score that might be out of your control, and/or mistakes can happen. We have taken this into account making the percentage reach 95% instead of 100%.
