It could be another test but I have noticed when searching for an item the titles under the thumbnail photos are now shortened to just a few words. For some listings the title is in full as before but most just have a few words. Luckily when you click on a particular thumbnail to go to the shop the title words are all there. I use Chrome on my desktop. Has anyone else noticed?
I just did a search. The Titles I see, have about 5 words in them. When I Mouse over, I can see the Title in its entirety. (desktop computer, Chrome). I have seen what you're describing though, in the past. From what I recall, it showed three words with three dots; the Title was truncated.
@ChillwolfArt When I mouse over the titles under most thumbnails it is still shortened yet on others it is in its entirety. Doesn't seem to be any consistency. However if you go to a shop's main page I see the titles under the listings in full as they should be.
The titles are back how they should be now. Must have been a test.
@bobsiDi Testing goes on all of the time. They are very busy and it gives me a headache. lol. Move the description to the left, then move it to the right, now back to the left side and now back to the right. Stop the insanity. lol. I saw a page where all of the shops names were gone and just show titles and photos and then within one click it was back to normal. Anyway, Here's an article from the Sellers Handbook.

Too bad the same testing team can't fix the problems sellers have in the forums that is preventing us and Etsy from making more money.
IMO shops should not be closed for weeks and months on end due to a technicality if that's what it is. Isn't there a team that monitors all that?
Just FYI. I just saw this shortening title happening today on a desktop in search results. The shortening was due to a separator/delimiter being used. So anything that looked like "Gnome Fabric - Springs Creative - etc" is just "Gnome Fabric" now. Hyphenated words are not affected but any "-" or "," with a space included made the text shorten to just what is before the separator. Yes, when you open the listing, you do see the whole title.
