My store missed out on the Star Seller badge because of Etsy s' fed Ex glitch, it just kept defaulting back to "fed ex " but I sent it Aust Post , contacted Etsy support but no outcome
It's a long standing bug that some of us have reported to Etsy in the past.
The shipping carrier changes while you are typing in the tracking number.
Sometimes you are able to change it back & proceed but sometimes there is an error message that stops you proceeding.
When that happens, my workaround is to cut the tracking no., cancel out and start again but this time paste in the tracking no. instead of typing.
I also follow an extra step every time I mark an order complete:
Open the completed order & click on the tracking no. to make sure it goes to the AusPost site.
If you find the wrong carrier has gone over to the completed order you have 3 days to change it back.
Hi - Has happened to me too many times - It's a pain! You have to make sure to check that you have Auspost showing before the final click.
