I'm going to be out of town for two days, so rather than putting my store on vacation mode, I wanted to add a few days to my shipping profile. I've done this before and sometimes it works and sometimes it gives me this error: "We can't save these changes because 1 listings connected to this profile would no longer have a valid shipping option."
I just tried to chat with help and they didn't have a fix for this issue, so here's how I fixed it within ten minutes in a completely boring way with no stress.
You'd think this is an error about shipping, but it actually isn't. There's no easy way to tell which listing contains the error, so you need to fix it one listing at a time. Here are the steps for that:
1. I went to Settings -> Shipping Profile.
2. I created a new "vacation shipping mode" shipping profile.
3. Under "active listings", there's an underlined number. I opened that link in a new window and could see all of the listings that used my old shipping profile.
4. I edited every page there one-by-one and switched them to the new profile.
Like I said before: The errors I got were not shipping-related. I've had my shop open for a while, so many of my listings are "incomplete" -- in this case, two of my listings didn't have "core details" because those core details didn't exist when I created the listing 5-7 years ago.

I've had this problem at least two times in the last year. I want to give people realistic shipping information, and I'll change my shipping speed if I have a cold or am going to be out of town for a long weekend. Please fix this bug and give your help folks a working page that explains why shop owners might have trouble making changes to their shipping profile. I was chatting with Hazel, and while she was very nice, she didn't have a fix for me and eventually cut me off by saying that I should use a different browser and dump my Etsy cookies. That wouldn't have fixed my issue, since my issue wasn't actually related to shipping or my browser cookies.
