For about a month now, most if not all of my orders have the message "upgrade requested." I never used to see that message, and I don't even know what it means....can anyone help? Thank you.
@RollercoasterKids It sounds like the customer upgraded their shipping choice. Do you have your shipping calculated automatically? Then a first-class parcel might be upgraded to Priority by the customer.
Yes, I use Etsy's shipping labels so it's automatically calculated. 99% of my orders ship Priority Mail, so there really isn't any upgrade choice. I don't have access to a FedEx or UPS drop-off where I live.
@RollercoasterKids Then double-check that the customer has not upgraded the shipping next time. That's the only time I've received that notice.
Sorry, this second post is an Etsy glitch...
@RollercoasterKids It's a glitch that's been there for a little while. Ignore it. I don't offer upgraded shipping and I see it on every order.
I have the same thing!
Every order which I have on a Ships Priority setting has a Shipping Upgrade Requested, even though I offer free shipping and the customer never requested it. Very annoying in that it does not go away even though Priority shipping is default! And yes it has been like that for about a month now.
I recently switched from using Pirateship to going back to Etsy labels. I get this error on every one of my orders now. I only offer USPS Priority or USPS Express shipping. Doesn't matter which option the customer chooses, I see that same message on every order. I ignore it.
