"Payment Processing" Status on Orders

I almost NEVER get orders with a status of "payment processing".  I currently have 2.  In the past, these types of orders have sometimes resolved quite quickly, but I had one take two weeks once.  Naturally, one of the two orders needs the item within a certain timeframe, so I can only hope that it gets fixed quickly. 

I sell on another site that also seems to be having issues in releasing payouts to PayPal.  So I am assuming there is an issue in the payment processing world somewhere.  But just posting this in case anyone else has this issue, so that you know its not just you.

It never is.  This can happen at any time to anyone.  Unknown if it would be limited to PayPal.  There are many reasons why payment processing happens.  And some never get resolved.

I have an order from a repeat customer today that is still “ payment processing “ after 6 hours!!! I don’t know what is happening today 🤦‍

Just an update that my two orders finally processed. I know that it happens occasionally - but it seemed like a larger issue, since I had two PLUS the paypal issue from another site.  Too many anomalies happening all at the same time to be a coincidence.
