So i have 2 policy violations and i cannot for the life of me figure out why. Both are craft supplies. One is a glue the other is a plain earring back. They are my photographs, listed as a craft supply in the correct category. Neither are anything that should be flagged and i am at a loss. I also dont know how to put in a request to have them reinstated.
Don't worry, Etsy will be in touch with you. I also worried how to get a hold of Etsy to appeal even though it is written that you can't appeal unless it is a Creativity Standard breach. They got in touch after a few hours via email and automatically reinstated after a human reviewed. In my case it was something that had been recalled but my actual item wasn't in the recall.
Could the glue be a type that's considered 'hazardous' under Etsy's prohibited policy?
I notice you have another glue listing that says it was 'handpicked by' you when it should be 'sourced by' you. There have been a few OP's lately where they're saying Etsy changed their categories from 'Made by' to 'handpicked' or 'designed by. So maybe that's what happened with that glue listing? If you actually did put it in 'handpicked' by mistake, is there a possibility that the glue was removed for that simple reason?
