phantom cart pop up

i have a phantom cart pop up and i have no idea how to get rid of it.

was trying to add a coupon code for discounts on my shop, wasn't sure if it was working or not so i signed out of my account, found my shop and added an item to the cart then tried the code.

the code worked so i signed back into my account, got a another pop up about " you cant buy from your shop or something" and now off and on the item keeps showing up in a pop up reminder on my screen....even though it isn't in my cart.

is there a way to fix this and make it go away?

Etsy detected your IP address. Try clearing your browser history.

Always view / test things like this via your brower's incognito mode.  If you continue to use regular mode for testing, Etsy will see it as shilling and can shut your shop down.

@ShopLoganComstock: It may be a cookie conflict - if you are going to do this kind of "testing" you need to do it using a different browser and preferably a different device.
