pattern website not recieving ssl in cname

Ive tried to apply the ssl using cname according to my dev team instructions and they've even updated my certs several time. Still getting errors that I need to not include https:// no where in either value pair. Referenced help files as well also though clear in instructions did not help even trying them in the opposite still gave errors. Did anyone else have the same issue coming from private domain servers on AWS ?

etsy has a habit of not updating the ssl on pattern sites.

Yes! It's as though they make it complicated so as to not lose transaction fees from us. I'm a heavy marketer from my real estate career and I've not been able to figure it out. Do you go through Pattern to upload to Pinterest? I have a massive following through them. You also need to make sure the traffic is driven to your personal business website and not Etsy.
