orders marked as completed suddenly showing up in overdue with missing tracking information.
so i receive an email from 2 customers asking about the status of their order.. when i click on the order i see tracking details missing and suddenly both these orders begin showing up in over due. I contacted etsy support but was of no help.
all clear all my orders and my orders are never overdue and i do remember having dispatched these.. i never kept backup of tracking details so not sure what to do now. It happend before also once i just thought it might have been my mistake and i just re dispatched the orders but now these are 2 orders and i m sure that i have dispatched these.
The orders are showing 30 to 33 days overdue
i dont buy shipping labels on etsy, i enter them manually after dispatch
any idea how to sort this
If it were an etsy glitch, wouldnt the customers have received their orders? Are you sure you didnt miss those 2 by accident?

i m now beginning to think it might be an accident and i might not have dispatched them, but still it should have shown up in pending order.. i couldnt have missed them for more than 30 days. And as soon as the customer messages me it starts to show up in pending ./ overdue
i happen to be a star seller, i never delay a order.. i have decided i would just dispatch them tomorrow
Track the package on the actual shipping company's website. Track directly USPS or UPS, whatever service you used.
Then mark the orders complete on Etsy and enter shipping information when prompted.
Do you purchase your shipping through Etsy or do you use a third party? If so, this will be easier to get Etsy to resolve for you.
Etsy shipping/tracking still has glitches, but I have found purchasing labels though Etsy (use whatever shipping company you prefer) minimizes issues.
Support will only respond to screenshots and inarguable information and even then you may have to email/chat several times for results.
After you have the tracking from your shipping company's website, contact support with screen shots from your shippers website and screenshots from Etsy "overdue" status.
Do this as soon as possible since the "overdue status" is affecting your star seller,
I can't help you with this dilemma, but I just have a future tip for you. As someone who has no access to Etsy labels, I always backup my labels purchased. Whichever site I buy them from, before printing them off, I save them to a folder I called 'Etsy labels' and name each file saved with the buyers surname. I save them for a year.
I do use Etsy labels and sometimes Pirate Ship...but I also keep a file with copies for a year. I do the same for a screenshot of the USPS 'delivered' tracking screen. Both are valuable if a problem occurs later!
