What is the reason for the "get cash back in 5 stores" icon on all my item pages? It actually tells people that they can find "similar" items elsewhere with cash back! I don't appreciate buyers being tempted to leave my shop after I've paid for ads to get them there. Is this a test? In my opinion it's a truly awful idea.

That sure sounds like some malware or something like an app from outside of etsy.

I just checked  your shop, and I'm not seeing it now on mobile.

Sounds like malware or you have an extension on your browser that's putting that there, like a Capital One credit card extension. I doubt if your buyers see it. It sounds like it's intended for you. I've seen other similar reports in Forums today, but I seriously doubt if it's an Etsy notice. I'm on a desktop and I don't see it in your shop.

Try a different browser and see if the message appears. Clear your browsing history, reboot your computer or tablet, and see if that helps. I checked your shop and it's not Etsy on the phone app.

Thank you for the thoughts... it seems it was an extension, which I removed. I did see the icon in other shops, though, so I was concerned!

@LeafandLavender  Thank you for confirming!  With all the kooky stuff  Etsy constantly adds, one just never knows!

You probably saw it in other shops because it was user/device dependent.
