my shop is banned

i cant post here with the account i have my shop, this is my personal acount

My shop is suspended without a reason. I check through my mailbox including spam, there's no email by Etsy telling me about the suspension... it's just suspended.............. I don't even know what happened.

I opened this new shop last year as I moved to the UK - they didn't allow me to change the payment account internationally. So I lost all rating and started from zero. Now all the hard work of last year is all trashed... and I don't even know why.

I recently got a large order from a famous guy (he also tagged me back on instagram), I believe my work has generated much income for Etsy company, why do they have to do this to me.

I am right now working on a big order, and i feel sad. Etsy takes so much fees, and now even banned my account

they said it takes up to 2 weeks to review my account, but i got this message from agent in 24 hours.

i really dont know what happend, it's just shut down without a reason... wanna cry

That's one of the form letters they use. It does NOT mean their decision is final. Keep replying within that thread with a subject line of "I Still Need Help." Tell them you did not get the email explaining what rule you broke. They should at least give you a general idea of what the problem was. They are never specific, but they will say, you violated someone else's IP or your items aren't handmade, or you were selling a counterfeit item or a prohibited item.

It may be as simple as you have two different bank accounts on record.

After taking a look at your store, it is not permanently suspended, it is on vacation and that is something different.  Did you have a lot of outstanding orders that weren't shippping fast enough? Is your current bank account information in order? Do you have an outstanding bill you forgot to pay? Is the credit card you have on file expired?

If you are persistent, eventually a real person will look at it. The first 2 or 3 answers are likely to be bots before a real person bothers to look.

No, this account im using on this forum is my old shop account, not my new shop. (they didnt allow me to change bank account internationally so i have to open a new account and new shop *sigh*)

They got so much fees from me, while I work on my sweat and blood. And now they stopped me from selling. That's really frustrating. I still have 15 bags to make, in a bad mood!

If you still have 15 bags to make, it may be just because you have a lot of outstanding orders, even if that is normal for you.

If you haven't heard from them in a week, I'd reply to your original thread again.

I have 10 years (on and off) of experience in selling on Etsy. I'm always on time and have tracking number.

What were you selling in your other shop? What type of item did the “famous person” order? It might’ve been the type of things you were selling. There’s no way we can help you figure it out if we don’t know what your shop was like.

Yes I found it. It says you’re not currently selling on Etsy. And when I clicked on your 70 sales, it just said “a stitch has gone awry” and showed me nothing.

What kind of bags? Were they all handmade by you?

Yes all are handmade by me, just leather bags and wallets. Not copy cat, no lyrics, no graphics...

The shop you're posting from is located in Hong Kong.  The ddmmyyyyShop says it's located in Edinburgh, UK.  There is a reason why your shop was suspended, because -- ''... I moved to the UK - they didn't allow me to change the payment account internationally.'' 

According to the Help article regarding updating bank accounts --

''It’s not possible to change a bank account to another country.

The best option is to open a new Etsy shop. With your new shop, you can set your bank account to one in your current country. However, you can’t merge Etsy accounts or transfer information from your original shop to your new shop. This means that shop data, including listings, reviews, or sales numbers, can't be moved over to a new account. You can include the URL for your original shop in your new shop to display your reviews and sales numbers to shoppers.''

Unfortunately, I don't think you have any other option except to open a new shop.

yes, YVNoriginals is the old shop, then i moved to UK and have ddmmyyyyShop, all because of the bank account issue. That was the problem a year ago not right now.

Right now, the problem is i am banned for uknown reason.

That’s probably still the reason. You should just open a brand new shop with your new address and new bank account details

ddmmyyyyshop is already a new UK account, new UK shop, new UK address and new UK bank account details. ID verified. NEW products, NEW designs. It has been running for a year without any problem until today. It was banned.

Forget about YVNoriginals, it's an OLD account, OLD address, OLD shop. OLD products, OLD designs. I login just for the forum here. 

It's not about the bank issue. I shouldn't have mentioned about the bank. I was just sharing how frustrating to restart everything 1 year ago and now all banned.

I have read the Etsy's policy and terms of use. I'm not a newbie.

@PieterTee Your shop is not suspended and it shows 0 sales.  If you received a message from somebody who needs your email address in order to complete the order, it's a scam.

Real messages from Etsy are now going into their own section (labeled as "From Etsy") on your Messages page https://community.etsy.com/t5/Announcements/New-From-Etsy-section-in-Messages/m-p/143722497#M1899 but apparently this is only true when using a browser.

There is no order - real orders will show up on your Orders & Shipping page and your Payments page.

Be sure to mark the message as SPAM so that it does not affect your stats.

Did you check your email for Etsy messages?  Make sure you check the spam or junk folder.  They usually send a message as to what is wrong. Do UK sellers have to confirm their seller info?  I had a problem for about 2 weeks where they put my shop on vacation after I had already been verified since the last time they verified my ID.  I think that was about a year or when they did the plaid info.  I was scared of the appeal and just went through Etsy before they shut it down. I did not like how it seemed that if you appealed it, there would be nothing you could do until someone reviewed it.  I had to get a supervisor, I requested a callback.

I am so sorry this is happening to you.  I have only been back a couple of days and I am still frazzled.

I did. Like the help center said, I checked junk mail box but still there’s nothing. I check really very carefully. 

My ID was verified a year ago. 

I don’t like how they handle all these. They shut the door without telling me why.

Mine was verified over a year ago, then about 2 weeks ago it was asked to be confirmed again.  It said verified and my information was confirmed but I was still stuck and then put on vacation mode. 

Depending on your email.  Put Etsy in the search bar. When you are upset it is easy to miss something.  I did not see mine, until after it was over.
