i just opened the etsy support chat from my shop manager page and rather than getting a fresh chat page, it opens up to my last chat from a month ago. it's like i never hung up the phone and the conversation is still going. what am i missing to officially end that and start a fresh chat for a current issue?
@KnotOriginal You're not missing anything. The chat box now stores the previous chats. There's no way for sellers to delete previous ones. You just continue on with a new chat.

It's what @SugarTaffySoap says. I asked the support person in my last chat how to close it out and he said it just stays that way.
Strange. I have had to talk to support many times thew last month...I always receive a "How did your chat go?" message but this last time, I haven't. and it doesn't say that the chat has ended.
Sometimes does that, just start with a new question if you want it to restart.
You can also try clearing your cookies & cache
