first pictures all black - not visible!

Hi, when browsing via Etsy I noticed that some listings are all black - first picture is not visible ... I jumped into my shop and noticed the same! Is there something going on?

Hey all! 

Our engineers just made a change that should have the proper listing photos appearing instead of the black boxes.

If you were experiencing this issue, can you please clear your cache & cookies, then try accessing one of the shops that were showing the black boxes? Please let me know if you're still seeing them or if listing photos are displaying as normal so I can pass that along to the team.

Hi,  with my android phone I see colored squares instead of the main photos of some listings. Also, some photos are too enlarged as well as the banner photos. Everything is fine with the Chrome Windows 11, except  the banner photos.

I was in my account a week ago and didn't have any black boxes.  Today I've gone in to make some additions and I am seeing many black boxes.  The Shop is Pure Joy Retail.  Thank you.  Tara Renick  2/16/23

@ampersay   Mine just started today. Same problem. It's happening on my phone and on my desktop -- fuzzy, zoomed-in review pics and black squares on order sheets.

ETA: Same problem on Chrome and Firefox (windows 10), and Android phone.

I am still seeing them…as well as zoomed in thumbnails and active listing that will not load. 

I emailed support and the person ignored 2 out of three of my issues and stated to clear my cache and cookie….which did not work.

I am still seeing white spaces where the photos should on my shop.  I also had a sale today and the photo of this sale showed up blank.  This has been going on for a couple of days now.   My shop is josmithwhimsey.  Thanks

I've cleared my cache and cookies and am still having a problem with two of my listings. One thumbnail is showing up as an all black background and one as an all white background. When I click on the thumbnails to go to the listings, those pictures are fine.

Still seeing it on the old app, & PC Firefox & Chrome.

Please remove "See Similar" from my first listings photo as this started when that did. I have "See Similar" on all of my listings.

I can see black boxes since yesterday and weird zoomed in photos on some of my listings in the stats. When I looked on another shop on the etsy app I could see black boxes for some of their items. Posted on Facebook and others have this too so it's not fixed
