no issue third time they have done it. it violated nothing. i have my copyright on the images. it is my work. they keep doing this they admitted their error last time. this is getting ridiculous. zero reason but stop bots.

You would need to contact Etsy support each time. I'm sorry that is happening to you.
i do but usually it’s a futile conversation with a bot giant circle. there seem to be about 2 humans tasked with all of this. they must be swamped.
Have you done a search to see if someone else has stolen your images?
i have and not found anything. that is also why i embed a copyright. i have also registered a trademark waiting on approval passed the first review. so hopeful knock on wood. i know it doesn’t stop it but should make it easier to show proof.
@Glassdisplay: It is almost impossible for any of us to speculate on what the bot was programmed to look for and the trigger may consist of multiple factors. There are clearly a lot of false positives but Etsy is cracking down on what they feel inappropriate. Reselling and copyright and trademark infringements is a always large factor. Since Etsy is now also factoring descriptions in search, they along with titles, tags, and materials (and possibly even alt tags if you are using them) are all probably being checked. And the bots are also "reading" images.
As an aside, you need to include YOUR licensing information for any trademarked and copyrighted names and images in your shop in that listing, otherwise buyers (and Etsy) may conclude they are counterfeits. Including the licensing information will show that you are not selling those items illegally. Universities are notorious for being protective of their brand and 'Illini' is trademarked.
that listing is not in question. they reinstated the same listing this is the second time they admitted it was an error the first time there have been no changes other than a number in the description. there is a flaw in the bot.
