etsy chat support not connecting to any agent

Hi,

I keep trying to get some support but no one reply's or the chat icon will not connect to support for my shop from the main dashboard.

I keep changing the layout for the 4 sections I upload an image and it says saving but then when I view my shop it always reverts back to before I modified it.

Please advise on how to get my chat support working to resolve this issue.

@pipeworkpieces: "I keep changing the layout for the 4 sections ..." Are you referring to the 'featured listings' section? If so, this forum is full of reports of (sometimes substantial) delays before the changes propagate and are visible to buyers.

this has been an ongoing issue.  I no longer do the featured listings because of it,

Some have said you need to wait for a few hours for it to change. 

Chat is not always available.  You may have to wait to get chat.  I never have chat so I don't bother with it.

As @ArtDollsbyJD said, this is a recurring issue and has been happening for at least a year and a half - chat gets stuck and no one responds. It is very frustrating that Etsy has not identified root cause and fixed the issue. 

If you are able, you can request a callback, but this also does not always work (your last option would be to email your question, and also mention that your chat is stuck):

Callback from seller dashboard: Help > Etsy Help Center > Selling with Etsy > (scroll down) Contact Etsy Support > Selling on Etsy > Finances and Billing > Payment Options > I still need help > Email or Callback

Clear your cookies.

Then go to the menu and select listings.

Scroll through your listings and find the listings displaying a yellow star.

Unselect the yellow star for any listing that you do NOT want featured, leaving only the 4 listings you want to feature.

Close out, clear cookies again, reopen your browser and log back in.

The correct 4 listings should now show as featured.  You should be able to rearrange the order now.

Sadly they don't make it easy for us to reach out for help.. I've had some success when I google "chat with etsy help".. Good luck
