digital file not appearing for customer to download

im a brand new seller and have attached files with no problem on my end but the option to download the digital file for the customer is not coming up. I cant find an email or chat centre to get to the bottom of it. any ideas if I. might be doing something wrong?

Its your first sale. It takes longer to process. The download won't be available until it's processed.

Is the buyer aware that they can only download the digital file using a browser?

Digital downloads can only be downloaded via a browser, check in with the buyer and ask if they're trying to access it via the app. If they do not have access to a browser, you can email the file to them.

If it's a digital item for download on Etsy and then you should not email it to them, there is no proof on Etsy they have downloaded it so they would be able to claim a refund. The customer should download via Etsy on a browser, and  be given instructions on how to do this if needed. If they claim they can't download the file, they should be referred to Etsy support to investigate and resolve.
