Re: deleting listing

Identical items to yours with identical photos are elsewhere on the internet.

Etsy bots look at your photos, then compare them to other websites. If they find them they assume you are reselling items you did not make or design.

Example:

A rug in your shop is listed for $550 (on sale for $333) is on Ebay for $189.98US.

A box in your shop is listed on Whizzcart using identical photos.

Etsy photos need to be unique if you want to avoid take downs.

Re: deleting listing

@MoroccanBazaaar: You need to keep in mind that "violated Etsys creativity standards" can encompass much more than just if it is handmade and / or designed by you. The violation can be anything from a 'prohibited' word in your title, description, or tags, to a non-conforming primary image, to being misclassified in core details, to intellectual property infringements, and lot in between.

However, there are some inconsistencies in your shop that make it look like you are violating Etsy terms and rules. For example, your About section says 'All our artisans work locally in our workshops.' Then you need to list every single one of them as a shop member https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000336867-How-to-Add-Shop-Member-Roles?segment=selling

If these artisans are covered by the production partner you list, then you cannot list the items as made by you. If you are the designer (and could find a mention of whether or not you are), then someone else can make them for you, but it needs to be exclusively for you.

Etsy seems to be cracking down on technical violations and a shop needs to make sure that they are in compliance. Etsy let a lot of violations slide for a very long time but it is clear that Etsy has stepped up enforcement of the rules.

While we can only speculate on what the trigger was that flagged your listing, the same image being found on other sites can certainly be a factor.
