Customer says he need my email adress for buying my product. What shoul i do?
It is a scam, put it in the spam folder so that Etsy can remove the user
Anyone asking for your email in Etsy messenger is trying to scam you even if they have a Etsy username or Etsy logo, it is NOT from Etsy!
This is a SCAM going around! Do not respond. Instead mark it as spam.
Buyers do not need your email. All ordering and payment processing happens behind the scenes and is seamless.
Once you give your email address, you magically get a fake email asking for your financial information, so they can steal your money.
Be suspicious of any messages like this, even if they say they are etsy support. All REAL messages from etsy will be in the "from etsy" folder of you inbox.
